Waxing
Waxing is an excellent way to deal with most hair removal. Waxing leaves the area smoother than shaving does because it pulls the hair out from below the top layer of skin. This is the easiest and most convenient way to go about removing hair from large areas and is maintenance free for up to 5 weeks. Hair in waxed areas will grow thinner and will decrease in quantity.
At Benessere we use only PhD Safewax, the only system of waxing that eliminates the risk of cross infection. This is achieved using individually packed applicator heads which are thrown away after your treatment.
With hot waxing, a thin layer of heated wax is applied to the skin in the direction of the hair growth. The hair becomes embedded in the wax as it cools. The wax is then pulled off quickly in the opposite direction of the hair growth, taking the hair with it.

Threading
Threading is an ancient hair removal technique practiced in the Middle East, South and South-East Asia, which is now becoming popular in the West. Threading involves the twisting of a thread of pure cotton between the fingers and around rows of hair to pull them out of their roots. Threading is especially good for sensitive skin as it more gentle than waxing or other forms of hair removal.
